Wye Valley Scoopes New award at GBBF

This week, Wye Valley Brewery, Herefordshire’s leading brewery has gained a top award for one of its bottled beers at Britain’s biggest beer event, the CAMRA Great British Beer Festival 2008 at Earls Court, London.

Wye Valley Brewery’s popular bottled beer Dorothy Goodbody’s Wholesome Stout has been crowned CAMRA Champion Bottle-Conditioned Beer of Britain 2008.

GREAT BRITISH BEER FESTIVAL 2008

For the 4th Year running Festival glass was selected to produce the Beer Festival glasses for the GBBF 2008 There will be 3 glasses in the range Oversized Pint Conical glass with distinctive Printed Lines @ 3rd Pint, Half Pint, and One Pint Branded with the GBBFESTIVAL LOGO and Sponsors logo on the back Oversized Half Pint both Pints and Half Pints are supplied the Camra Logo embossed on the bottom of the glass, and a 3rd Pint Stemmed Tasting glass

The Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court is Britain's biggest beer festival and brings together a wide range of real ales, ciders, perries and international beers. There will be at least 450 beers available throughout the festival including golden ales, fruit beers, stouts, bitters and some international real lagers. As well as a great selection of beer there is also cider and perry, all available in pint, half pint and third pint measures.

The East London & City Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) will be holding there annual Beer and Cider festival in December.

Festival glass have been commissioned to produce the Beer festival glasses the glass will feature the distinctive Beer festivals logo together with the  sponser logo which is Wells Young Brewing Company.
 
There be three glasses in the range.
 
23 oz Oversized  Conical Glass printed in full colour with the festival logo and sponsers logo with printed line @ Pint and Half Pint and the camra logo embosed on the bottam of the glass.

There will be also the new Festival Tanakrd printed in an SATIN ECTH EFFECT  and for ther first time 3rd Pint glasses

National Winter Ales Festival 2008

Festival glass as been commissioned once again to supply the Nation Winter Ales festival with there Beer Festival glasses the event whcih is being held at New century hall from 16th to 19th January 2008 will feature over 200 beers.

This year Festival Glass will be supplying a new Festival Tankard (11.5 oz oversized) WITH A PRINTED LINE @ Half Pint and 3rd Pint.

The new Festival Tankard is an exclusive tankard that festival glass has had made and has been seen at various events throughout the UK and has proved to a extremely popular item together with an oversize 23 oz Conical with printed line ‘ Half Pint and Pint with the embossed camra logo on the bottom of the glass.
